Do you ever get anxious or uneasy to the point where it can slow down your journey to a halt? If you’re anything like me, you have. Until recently my life’s journey was timid and often fearful. That is until I was able to peel the onion down to what was truly troubling me, fear. Well, my friend, I discovered how to be fearless and you can too.
Time to be fearless. This was a name that I picked out one day while trying to figure out what URL’s were available for my blog. I had been searching for a bunch of different names and then this one was actually available! It resonated with me because it stands for everything that this blog is about.
Time to be fearless is about finding the time to do the things that will bring your life up to the next level. Time to be fearless is about conquering your fears. You know, the fears causing depression, anxiety and holding you back from achieving what you really want in life.
I am not talking about phobias, or legitimate fears that keep you safe. You know, like the fear of jumping off a bridge, that’s a good fear, keep that. Your fear of spiders, not sure this blog will help with that either, but who knows.
What I am talking about is the fears that hold you back from accomplishing your dreams. We all like to work in our comfort zone. Unfortunately we don’t do any growing in our comfort zone. Many of us fear getting out of that zone because it’s unknown.
Most negative emotions are rooted in fear. As a matter of fact I’ll go out on a limb and say that I can’t think of a single negative emotion that isn’t in some way a derivative of fear.
These are some of the most-popular fear-based emotions:
- Cold feet
This blog will navigate you through the tumultuous waters in what can seem like an ocean of fear. In future articles I will provide practical steps to guide you on your personal journey to overcoming the fear you have in your life. I’ll do this by sharing my own personal experiences and triumph over and management of these emotions. I’ll also share what I’ve read, heard and learned from others who have taken the same kind of triumphant journey that I have.
Thank You for reading my blog, I am excited that you are here!
